Biography |

Dominic Gaziano is a practicing
General Internal Medicine in Chicago. He completed his
residency training at University of Cincinnati in 1995. He
finished a fellowship in General Internal Medicine Research at
Chicago’s Northwestern University. While at Northwestern,
Dominic was involved in clinical research to improve diabetic
foot care awareness and research to improve outpatient mental
health evaluation. As a medical student, he wrote and directed
two bioethics videotapes. During his fellowship, he led the
resident journal club published a journal watch newsletter for
the Northwestern University Medical community. Presently, Dr.
Gaziano is actively involved in hospital and nursing home
care. In the last two years, he has drafted and implemented
the multidisciplinary pathways for Congestive Heart Failure
and Asthma for community hospitals in Chicago. Dominic
regularly gives in-service lectures to nurses in hospitals and
nursing homes to improve the quality of care. Dr. Gaziano
recently completed editing “Fitness Journey”, a TV show, to
educate and motivate viewers to become fit. In addition to
writing and directing television shows, Dominic has penned
other radio and theater plays in the Chicago area. He was
brought up in a large Italian family, he still maintains some
of the Mediterranean traditions, especially cooking. His other
interests include running and dance. |

Doctor
Bennett is a Board Certified physician in Family Medicine. He
finished a 3 year residency in Family Medicine at Niagara
Falls Memorial Medical Center from the University of
Buffalo. His undergraduate was finished at San Francisco State University with a
Degree in Biochemistry . During his attendance at SFSU he
researched the affects of vitamins on living cells. He then
continued his studies and went on to Graduate from Ross
University School of Medicine. He started his research on
vitamin's and herbs while a junior at SFSU. As a senior he
published a paper in Organic Chemistry on 2 dimensional NMR
spectroscopy of phosphorus. He has attended many seminars and
acquired certificates on Alternative Medicine and Alternative
therapies. Since the start of his research he has accumulated
vast knowledge in the treatment of medical conditions with
Alternative Medicine. He was a medical coordinator at St.
Anthony's and Norwegian American hospital, where he instructed
medical students in Internal Medicine, OB/GYN and Pediatrics.
Doctor
Crovetti is double board certified, in both internal medicine
and sports medicine. He presently works for Trinity
Orthopedics in Oak Park, Illinois. Doctor Crovetti had
developed and expanded the sports medicine program for
Marianjoy Rehablink and West Suburban hospitals. Doctor
Crovetti is a graduate of Loyola University Medical School
where he also completed a year of general surgery. He then
completed a three year residency in internal medicine in
Chicago, and completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine at the
University of Kentucky. He has covered many
professional/collegiate sporting events and professional
ballet and elite cheerleading club as head physician, and
helped cover the first ever Eco/Challenge in Nevada (1995) and
the 1997 Iron Man Triathlon in Hawaii. Doctor Crovetti was
part of a sports medicine delegation which traveled to China
(Sept. 2001) to exchange ideas and learn eastern medicine
practices in treating athletic injuries. He is a Lieutenant
commander in the navel reserves and has been trained in battle
field medicine. He competed in the CIOR military pentathlon in
Berlin. Doctor Crovetti is a certified coach and has coached
high school wrestling. He has worked as a nutritionist at
Gold's gym and has knowledge in supplements and ergogenic
aids. Doctor Crovetti has done research in many areas
including rehabilitation after open heart surgery and injuries
that occur to high school wrestlers. He has presented at the
Midwest chapter of the American College of Sports Medicine and
the annual national meeting of the American College of Sports
Medicine. He has also published a chapter on "Little Leaguer's
elbow" in The Five Minute Sports Medicine Consult. |
